the dynomax is too big & gets hit by the driveshaft during offroad use, any ideas ? thx.
I don't know how big your muffler is. Maybe some pictures? I have a flow master super 44 and it's tucked a little higher than factory, but it can take a good hit and keep on rolling. Basically another skid plate it's so thick.
Don't know if this will help but here are the OEM muffler dimensions:
oval shape
OAL- 24.5"
width - 9.75"
height - 4.5"
inlet - 2.25" center
outlet - 2.25" offset

Mine is nice, it's louder but I can't really hear it over the other vehicle functions unless the windows are down. Mine is also dumped at the axle so it's a littler worse than yours would be with full exhaust
I used an oval magnaflow on mine. Smaller then stock and just a tad louder. You can barely even tell its got an aftermarket muffler. I can get a part number if needed.
