If you have the money go with a company like Rubicon express. For the cheaper solution use rough country. I have a Rustys 6.5 inch lift.

Looks like your control arms need to be a little bit longer there Sam. The tires are pretty far back in the wheel wells.

Nice clean looking rig though!

I have an RC 3in, previous owner put it on so IDK any particulars. It's been good to me, only issue is i bent a shock and the rear leafs are flat since they're the originals with leafs added.

tires are 31/10.5

I have a RE lift on my XJ and only have 686 into it including ADJ Trackbar, Full leafs, Coils, Brake lines, Bilstein 5100 shocks

My best advice is to Shop around and Piece together your Kit sometimes it takes longer but it worth it in the long run

ill be honest i dont even know how to go about it at all. i know for my end result i want a 3" lift with 31" tires. can i achieve this with a 3" front spacer, and a shackle kit or leaf kit? which is the better of the two for the rear? and besides those, what else will i need?

so you want 3" not 3.5? I was going to say go with RE but send AOR a message for a quote on a 3 inch lift, and go with full leafs they will last much longer, as far as cutting goes you really dont know. some guys have had a small bit of rubbing and some havent, but youll have to see once you get them on. trimming is no biggie

Search budget boost. You can use chevy S10 leaf springs for 3-3.5" of lift and get some springs for the front. Rustys has 3" springs for $100. I used JK rubicon shocks with BPE (give and extra 1-1.5" to the shock length). For around $400 I have a 3-3.5" lift.
