Have a very, very light foot. Mud is easier than rocks on shafts but anything bigger than 35s and you're asking to break. Chromos would help but by the time you buy aftermarket shafts, gears, lockers and such you could buy bigger axles that you don't want.

Gear ratio chart http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-ti...atio-chart.htm and like said over 35s on stock axles i hope you have triple A and a good pair or walking shoes.

Yup your getting "the Cart Before The Horse" so to speak. Axles would need to be high on the list along with some truss's then gears and lockers either ARB or Detroit Lockers for 37" tires.

Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for, as you may get it.

if you do end up doing this, don't run 4.88's and don't try to pull anyone out. if you do end up breaking down or getting stuck remember that it's some poor bastard like me who ends up having to risk pulling you out. as long as you're with someone reliable who's gonna help get you out of a mess, do whatever you like

and buy a winch
