VW JETTA TDI swap in to XJ???

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you guys know is its possible to put a VW Jetta diesel engine on a Cherokee and if it is... whats all in it...????

I have seen that cummins have the 4bt but it seems complicated and expensive... not to mention that is a bigger engine... looking for better MPG mostly driving ... occasional wheeling.

i personally am not a fan of putting any VW powertrain in a jeep. but, it would still be cool to see.
