Uturns
A few months ago I put a Spartan locker up front in my D30. I can always hear it when turning but not bad, just your normal little clickity click, click, click UNTIL I have to make a uturn, then it feels and sounds like the front end is going to SNAP! I have 140w oil up front. Is this normal for a front locker?

when making a uturn you are having to power thru the turn (i.e on the gas) so it then locks up when as normally when you are coasting through a normal turn it can just free ratchet

Only if 4x4 is engaged. I have a Detroit up front and it doesn't do that unless I engage 4x4... But now with my upgraded axle shafts CV shafts I can turn it all the way and it doesn't do it at all anymore.
It could also be ujoints are shot.

It is normal for a lunch box locker like the spartan. Full case lockers like the detroit not so much. When I ran my Aussies people stared at me in parking lots like they were waiting for parts to fall off.

x2, i have a spartan in my rear, even when coasting in tight turns it clicks pretty loud. its louder the tighter I turn. when i am on the gas it won't click at all. just makes the tires chirp. sounds normal to me.
