I am looking to get some chromo shafts for my dana 30, has anybody run usa standard shafts, are they any good. Are pretty much the same as other chromo shafts. But just with 1 year warrenty

 

I run them. Word on the inninets is that they are the same as yukons, just the finish isn't up to yukon standards. I bought a set, one shaft was obviously the "usa standard" The others appeared to be "yukon" standard. It's a crap shoot. If they don't have a lot of rejects that month, you'll get the yukons in the usa standard box, but you won't know ahead of time.

 

As far as i was told by a gear vender there yukons just might not be as shiny lol

 

Yeah, they're made by yukon. So it seems the main differences are that the warrenty is only a year, and they aren't as shiny

 

As the other said there Yukons but they arnt test for nquality control as many times. I run USA standard gears in both axles as they were nearlly 100 less than any other set and I'm not worried
