Default Upgrading trans cooler lines.

Putting the rebuilt engine and AW4 trans in soon,, I don't have the original trans lines and I HATE the quick disco connectors.

I plan on screwing a M14 - JIC male adapter in the trans on place of the quick disco adapters.

Then running hard line up to the front (mounted to engine,

Then 3/8 trans rated hose to the cooler.

Questions:
What material for the 3/8 hard line?
Where the hard line connects to the M14-JIC male,, single flare the hard line and a simple flare not ?
Connecting the 3/8 rubber trans hose to the 3/8 hard line - bubble flare the end of the hard line, slip the hose over and double clamp?

I really dont want to go with all the fancy Earls stuff.

Thanks for any suggestions.

If you use Nicopp, the rest of the vehicle will rust away to dust before that stuff corrodes. It's very easy to work with, too.
