Default Upgraded door problems

OK so I put front doors from a 2000 xj on my 94 xj.

Problem is I cant find what all these wires do anywhere.

The 94 only has a 8 way connector.
The 2000 has an 8 way, 2 other connectors, and a single tan wire. Something like 17 wires.

All I am interested in doing is making the window go up and down and making the speakers work.

Not interested in power locks and I put manual mirrors on the doors.

I don't need the windows to operate from the drivers side.

Basically all I need to know are the colors of the speaker wires, the power window power lead, and the ground on the 2000 doors.

If anyone knows the colors for the 94, that would help too.

Thanks

I'm considering upgrading to the newer style doors. Did you use your old door panels or the one's meant for the newer doors? My rig is all manual and I would really like to convert it to electric. My drivers side window does not roll up and down; I have to pull it up and down. So, I figured replacing w/ newer style doors just might kill 2 birds w/ one stone.

Used the front doors from a 2001 XJ Sport on my 1994 XJ.
Panels and all. Wiring harness is different but the wires are the same colors so I took the harness from the old doors and spliced it to the new doors.
Need to reverse the polarity for the backs though because the new controls will be reversed if you keep the old back doors.
The guy I got them from has the backs too so I may just go get those. The panels are so much nicer.
My old doors were busted as can be. Passenger side wouldn't stay closed and was missing the handle/arm rest. Drivers side had broken interior handle and window didn't want to come down. It was easier to swap them than to fix them.

Just curious, do the colors appear to match well? What color is your XJ?

Mine is OD Green. I will need to paint the doors to match. The interior panels were black so they go with anything. Pic is before the new doors. I'll take new pics soon.

This is what I done so I could go door less and let everything still work. made easy to only have to reconnect a few wires when I wanted them back on.

Before and After wires. It could have been done prettier but It works for me.

So, between a pre '95 and post '97, how many wires are the going to the doors on a '97 and how many wires on a '95 (considering a door has speaker, pw, pl and pm)? I am trying to figure out how many pin connector i will need for the conversion... I want to use aircraft quick connects.
