Upgraded alternator for 1994?

Upgraded alternator for 1994?
I'm putting together an order from rock auto and I figure I might as well do a new alternator since mine howls a little while it's cold, And do an upgrade while I"m at it. I read where the 2.5L durango alternators will bolt in for 120a but will the wiring connectors be the same for a 1994? All I can seem to find is they'll work on the 1997+

I also see that the durango pulley is bigger, Will I need a new belt or should the tensioner let out enough to compensate for it?
