Upgrade Transmission Cooler
Hello, CF Folks:
Wanted opinions on this transmission fluid cooler I am about to purchase. Looking to bypass the radiator circuit and install a thermostat for the trans fluid since I live in VA and we see a few cold months and snow. Wanting to maximize cooling all around, so I am going to mount the cooler behind the crash bar and mount a fan for slow speeds/idling. I'll add vents to the bumper.
Wanting opinions for this particular unit and wanted to make sure that 10 AN fittings aren't too big. I think OEM line size is 3/8 and this one is about 3/4. Would I have any issues just adapting down diameters?
