Upgrade alternator

how many of you guys have upgraded your alternator? i need to upgrade mine and was wondering what you think the best type is. Thanks in advance.

thanks. im getting an amp and am eventually gonna put on probably 4-6 more lights so i was told i would need a new one.

Engine: 1987 4.0L (242 CID) I6 RENIX FI 242 173 hp (129 kW) @ 4600 rpm, 224 lb•ft (304 N-m) @ 4000RPM

2.5L Dakota Alternator = bolt in, upgrades to 117A
perfect for most people running regular stuff; 6 lights, radio and air compressor etc

there are others you can try that will work, but may not be bolt on,
little fab work like new brackets or w/e
