how the hell do i remove the left over threads from the old O2 sensor that is stuck inside the pipe threads

Will a thread cleaner work.

heh hehheh FIRE! (that's my Beavis impression) If you don't have a torch, a cheap tap and die kit would come in handy.. or just one tap. That'll clean it up purdy. "What size are the threads?" you may ask.. Well, I dunno, but Ace hardware has a real handy little board with all size nuts 'n bolts, standard and metric. Screw the new sensor in some till it fits. I'm doin' one tomorrow.. the instructions have torque specs for M18 or M12. Maybe one of those sizes. Sounds like you got it licked

Go to a plumbing supply store they will be able to tell you the thread type.

Its a pipe thread.

Also look up spark plug non fouler. They have the same threads and I think the specs are on the description.
