ugly *** marker lights
i decided i was gonna get rid of my ugly stock orange marker lights that didnt work anyways so instead of buying new ones i just decided i would paint my stock ones, took them off sanded them cleaned them with acrylic cleaner and rattle caned them, while taking them off i learned that the reason they didnt work was not an out bulb but that the bulbs were covered with a coat of green paint "from the factory" i cleaned off all the paint and even with the lenses painted black they work a little dim but better than what i had from the get go

Did something similar to mine. Used the Niteshade spray I used on my taillights. It came out nice, IMO. Can tell they're smoked when they're on, but it's not enough to where I can get pulled over.
Yours look nice, too!
Edit: Kinda hard to see in that pic, better in this one. https://i.imgur.com/jPQbA.jpg

I used a spray that's made for light tinting. It can come off with some paint thinner or something. I didn't use sandpaper on them either, so they'll wash off and look fine.

I have a combo of both painted and off ebay, I had all painted but the side one flew off going down the road so I ordered some. I like both, will get a photo in the morning to dark now

92xjguy, love how you did yours. I've had those same ones for about 2-3 years now and they're starting to fade.. If i cant buff them back to new i'll definitely tint mine EXACTLY how you did yours. Because so far yours is the first ive seen on a 94-96 that looks decent lol
