Bought a 89 Cherokee wagoner with some .minor stuff done like transfer case drop kit along with a sye and a rear relocation shackle kit I bought the. Rough country 6.5 in long arm kit and started to install it. Once I started on the reear that's where trouble started. Once I fought to get springs seemed to be twisted as well as the jeep has a high rake in the front,. I tried adjusting the rear relocation kit and taking out the relocation kit and nothing. Stupid me thougr it was stock as I was told. Come to find out it' has a ford 8.8 rear axle so wandering how I can make the install work
Only difference is the 8.8 will need different U bolts to bolt to the springs, the springs and shackle relocation kit set up the same way no matter what axle you have. Also you don't need a transfer case drop if you have an SYE.
