Hello!
I just installed a 6.5" inch RC short arm lift kit on my '89 Cherokee.
Once we took it off the jack stands we noticed that the front end sat almost two inches lower then the rear.
Is it possible I was sent the wrong coils or that I just need to drive it around for a week and let the rear springs settle.
Thanks in advance!

There's your issue right there.

but really rough country isn't exactly known for quality. We've installed a quite a few of their lifts here at the shop. Sitting uneven on their higher kits is kind of common place. The rear should settle a bit, but that rake is going to remain.

wait until you drive that thing....gonna be roooouuuggghhhhhh. Did it come with control arm drop brackets? You put an sye, right?

there was a thread similar to this a couple days ago, same uneven lift.
I wouldn't wait for it to settle.

No one else has asked, so I will...

Did you put it on it's own weight, cycle the suspension several times, then torque?

If you tightened in the air, loosen up, let it rest on it's own weight, jounce and rebound the suspension many times, then torque to spec. Both front and rear.

That said, RC 6.5 " short arm with no SYE=crap ride/vibes. You also need to address your trackbar, steering, brake lines...and RC rear leafs are notorious for not fitting right.

It is possible you were sent the wrong coils. RC returns are hit and miss. I have heard good and bad, but in MY experience, they sucked. I don't have a single good thing to say about them, either in their product, or their customer service.

Good luck... hope it helps.
