Transmission & Transfer case for 2.5L?

Transmission & Transfer case for 2.5L?
I have a 96 2WD Cherokee with a 2.5L 4cly. I would like to convert it to a 4wd setup but am having a hard time finding the info I need related to the transmission and transfer case options for the 2.5L. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
