Ill bet its your throwout bearing. If you can start your car in first gear low and it can creep along then your tranny is prob ok. I just replaced my thb, clutch, pilot bearing and now my 94 is rock solid.

I can start it in 1 and go all the way to 5th its just hard as hell to shift and it is easy to go in to gear when the jeep is turned off. It just wont want to go into revers at all when i engage the cluch and go to put it in revers u can here the gerars spining wich is what makes me think its the cluch not engaging. What makes me think its the slave cylender or master cylender is It feels like there is no presher on the cluch pedel when i push it in.

I know if the master cylender gos out there will be no presher to push the fluid down to the slave cylender. There is no leeks no cracks nothing. Im not loosing fluids eather. The master cylender is full.

1 easy check would be to remove the slave from the bellhousing and see how much play is in the clutch fork. The fork shouldnt move around much
