i would install the lift with no tc drop, and see how shes runs, if you get driveline vibrations and what not, get a tc drop or a slip yoke elim

on mine i have a 4.5in with a 1in tc drop and i still have a little driveline vib.

tc drop is instead of a SYE. its not made to cure driveline vibes, even though it does, its for safety of not losing your driveshaft

driveline vibs break shafts, so.. fixing the vib is the same things as saving the shaft

drop kits r usually found in 1" sizes which would be plenty to go with a 3" lift

Sye will cure vibes when setup properly

And its also there to allow for increased angles on the driveshaft without binding

The TC drop kit is just a 1" spacer between the frame and the TC cross member. You can use anything. There are 2 bolts and 2 studs with nuts that hold the cross member in place. the hardest part of the job is getting the 2 studs out of the frame so they can be replaced with bolts. Use some heat and you wont have a problem. Also you won't need the track bar.
