today i got my new wheels installed, and i put my fender flares back on. during that, i noticed that the passenger front tire sits about 1-2" further out side the fender flare than the driver side. now, i have had a little death wobble from 45-55mph... could that offset of the front axle cause the death wobble? it has gotten a lot worse after my stance has widened out.
i do have an adjustable track bar, not installed by me, but by the PO. looking back on the records, the shop that did the lift and track bar did do an alignment, but obviously not if i can notice the shift of the front axle.
any advice is welcome!

You should check to see if the track bar has more available adjustment to align the axle. The people who last adjusted everything may not have known what they were doing.
Also, how much lift do you have?
When I originally lifted my XJ, I got a used 4.5" adjustable short arm Rusty's hand me down from a friend of my brother... boy did I learn fast that that was asking for trouble.
Anyway, the lift came with an adjustable track bar with bushings on both ends and no HD bracket. I bought a RE HD bracket to go with it and after everything was installed and it came time for an alignment, I noticed that the front axle was offset about 1 1/2" - 2" to the passenger side. Unfortunately for me the track bar adjustment was maced out to the driver side so I couldn't adjust it any further. For a quick fix, I took the track bar off, cut about a 2" section out of the axle side flat section, put a sleeve inside the track bar and welded back. It allowed me to center the front axle and only took about 30 minutes to do.
Lesson learned: if you buy good ***** then you don't have to do bs like this.

Nut is off. We tried everything. Had the track bar off at the top mounting plate and we could wiggle it every way. But the bolt would not budge

Ok. Got a new track bar... problem now is the back hole on the bracket is wobbled out. How would I get a plate in there and welded up?
