Default Tow hook placement on a 1997 XJ Sport

This is probably an extraordinarily dumb question, but is there any place to mount tow hooks on an XJ without using an aftermarket bumper? I'm fine with tearing things off

Yeah people are usually selling factory tow hooks with brackets in the for sale section.

These mount under the factory front bumper:

And you can also put this on your hitch:

These by C4X4 offer more lateral support. BUT it's been mentioned elsewhere that hooks aren't allowed at off-road parks.

XJ tow hook brackets
These heavy-duty brackets allow you to easily and safely mount tow hooks on your unibody XJ. All parts are powder-coated black. No drilling is required for installation. Kit includes tow hooks.

Just another option. I like this one because it ties the two sides together. There's also plenty more options out there.

Cool. Never seen that one. Basically a receiver hitch w/o the receiver.

Yes like said avoid "Hooks" use only D-Rings for all recovery and straps/rope, no chains. Like Earl said most all parks these are all that are allowed in the park for safety reasons.
