I guess I'll add mine. I just modded the factory box. Been doing it this way for years on my VW's and the results have been consistent. It's free and it works.

I think im going to try and cut a stock intake tube and see what I can do with exhaust pipe. Just got to find a a 20 year old intake tube still in good shape so I can still drive the jeep while I work it out

There have been allot of changes since I did the air intake, including removing that big piece of rubber/fiber from under the front of the engine bay. It's a mud pit under there now.
Just took this pic for the post. I need to put some heat tape around the down spout piece that is attached through the hood, it got out of shape from heat. I would recommend using a metal piece if you can find one.

since my job takes up most of my time, i was just wondering what would be the easiest way to put a cone intake on my jeep? i see you guys just make it work but just curious if you had any tips?
