Default TJM air locker

Anyone ever heard of them or seen them installed or anything? Much cheaper than any other selectable lockers. Just wondering what the deal is.

The search on the website only gave results for a D30 and D35 c-clip. I wonder if there are other axles supported?

TJM is an Australian company that has been around since the 70's. They are a good company. I bought their 12k winch not too long ago, and it's very well built.

They're pretty cheap on summit racing and eBay. I believe those were the lowest. Ranging from $480 to $650ish I believe. I'm hoping to get one and give it a shot. Looks similar in design to an ox locker, but uses an air actuator instead of cable actuator. They seem like a good idea. Hoping to order one Wednesday, then probably going to try and install it myself after watching quite a few videos and reading MANY write ups.

Right on, I'm definitely interested. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Yes, they also have an electric option I believe. I was looking into ox lockers before stumbling upon tjm. Both appear to move a ring in and out to lock and unlock. Not sure the internal differences, but they look similar on the exterior. At almost half the price I have to see what the deal is. I already have and air tank in the back for my train horn so just some more plumbing and I'll be good.

Didn't want to comment on this until I was sure haha

a regular at the shop I work at had a tjm locker in his toyota...I didn't know for sure if it was this brand until I saw his brother in town today and asked just because of this thread haha...long story short he had the tjm fail on him twice...don't know the specifics since this was a year or 2 ago but he had an extremely difficult time with their customer service not answering numerous times. I was swapping his tires while he was on the phone cussing at them for their "cheap ****" haha. That's all I have heard or seen of the company. But again it was awhile ago, and this dude is a complainer, but does know his wheeling stuff.

I to am interested in following. I would like to get lockers in the near future. Do leave a review here or on your build thread since I follow that as well. Would be great if these are the real deal! Hopefully it's not too good to be true. The price is really appealing. And I do want lockers haha.

Looking online now, the company seems to have a good rep. Quite a few threads about going with arb or tjm and lots saying they are comparable. These are for differnt vehicles then the xj but still.

it's looking promising man! Can't wait to hear your review.
