Tire Carrier Latch
Okay I'm in the process of building a rear tire carrier. I have $0 into it so far. I'm looking for a cheap latch that would function like a car door. Open with a handle and close by just shutting it. I don't want to spend over $20 on it though. I was thinking about doing a bear claw latch system or a paddle latch system but I can't find any cheap enough and the right size. The lower main tubing im using is 2 1/2"x 2 1/2" x 1/4" square tubing and I want the handle recessed into the tubing similar to Smittybilt's rear bumper. Any ideas and pictures are welcome. Thanks in advance

This is what I used on my tire carrier. It is also the same type that JCR uses, at about a third of the price. Very easy to adjust, and extremely easy for open and close operation.

Thanks for the link! I contact detoursUSA and they gave me the link to their retailer where they buy their latches. Very similar to the ones you gave me the link for.
