Hey guys,
im in the middle of doing ball joints, new shocks & 2” spacers on the front springs. While working on it, I noticed the tie rods look shot.
should I just replace with standard tie rods or is there any type of upgrade that makes sense?
it’s a daily driver that sees minimal off roaring from time to time
thanks in advance.

The V8 ZJ tie rod is a good upgrade. Just put one on my son's TJ. But if you can't find one, there are a number of heavy duty tie rods from aftermarket vendors. The drag link is adequate for just about anyone. I would recommend not going with "steering upgrades". Most of them have characteristics you won't llike
