Thrust washers? Aussie Locker

okay so the aussie locker is in the mail. im trying to find new thrust washers for my dana 30 on my 99 xj. anyone know where to find them? cant find them anywhere. Also, any tips and tricks for the install from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE would be appreciated.

Good luck. I had no luck at any local part stores without buying a whole rebuild kit. Online migh be your best bet.I ended up using a set out of a buddys trashed d35 from a yj. They were close enough in size to work.

pull the carrier and ring gear I dont think its worth trying to cheat and grind the ring gear. Follow the directions and you should be fine. Why do you need new thrust washers? Use your old ones unless they are scored really bad same goes for the center pin.

Install is super easy. You should be able to knock it out in an hour or so. Here is a good write up.

I don't want to use the old ones because the axel has 201000 miles on it. the washers are vital to the lockers performance. also if they are worn out I don't want to have to wait a week to get new ones. just doing it in good measure for time.
