Just go with a drop in k&n filter. They're usually around $50 at your local parts store.

Heres a link to the one I built and it has worked great for a couple years now. I have had waves break on the windshield and still good.

You will always have mixed opinions. But I seriously can't see much of an improvement. Its just some bling in my op unless you make a snorkel out of it.

That said, I did mine the other day.
