Default Tempermental Steering

Before I go throwing money at the jeep id like to narrow down my problem. Ive been looking on the forums around and cant quite figure out what it is. I already tried bleeding the steering system by jacking up the front axle and turning the wheel lock to lock and no air bubbles showed. while turning right the fluid in the resivoir rose and left it fell.

Current setup:
33's
Saginaw reman'd steering gear box (fall 2012)
Stock p/s pump (spring 2012)
IRO otk steering

Symptoms
While cool/first started there are no problems with steering. No noises no resistance.
Once warmed up it is difficult to turn left/my steering box makes a whining/grinding noise and resists turning. Never any problems turning right.

Possibilities
Air in the system?
Stock p/s pump cant handle 33's?
Gear box is bad?

Thanks guys any help is appreciated!

i've been running 35's and 36's on my stock p/s pump and box for years with no real issues.

maybe look into a cooler...?

maybe get a hold of the place where you got the reman'd unit from describe the issue and see what they think.. Maybe Warranty??

Could the fluid heating up too much cause the whining? I read somewhere that an air bubble can cause things to heat up.

Maybe clean fluid? bigger tires with stock p/s pumps burn the fluid faster. Might help.

What happens when you give it a little throttle while turning? Does it spin easier(as it should) or no change without a TON of throttle.

When my pump went out this is how my steering was. Lasted 1.5years that way before one day it just started leaking like mad and gave up. Now I've got an OEM 01 pump and a durango gear box. My trackbar is worn out so the steering a little loose right now but the pump/box seem to be great. 33" worn SS TSL's turn easier than a Civic.

Steering box ball valve is sticking it sounds like. As it warms up the ball valve will push to one side or the other and block the bypass port causing hard steeing.

Does this mean the steering box is bad?
