Default SYE Question 4" Lift

currently have a 3" lift with a 1" tcase drop, i want to add either a 1" or 2" coil spacer and shackle to have it sit around 4" so i can clear 33x12.5. my question is can i run 4" lift with a 1" tcase drop and no SYE? i plan on doing an SYE, LAs, and regear further down the road. just want to keep it at 4" (if possible 5") with 33s and without spending the money on a SYE. thanks

I ran 5.5" with a tc drop and no sye. The shackles will help your pinion angle a little bit. But the sye is the way to go.

I have a 6.5 long arm Rusty's kit and about 1/4 drop on the crossmember and i don't have a SYE. No vibrations, no binding, even flexing it out, no issues. You'll be okay

OP, what year xj do you have? The 97+ XJ's can be very picky.

I am in the same boat. 3in of lift.. But after all the armor I'm adding I want to add another inch of lift.

Btw, I run 3inches and 33x12.50 baja claws.. It can be done...

I'm on 3.5" with a 1" tcase drop and I still have little vibes... I can't imagine if I went up anymore without sye

It's cool, I'm on the app so I can't see your sig anyways. But like I said the 97+ XJ's are picky. I did a 3in lift on my friends 00 and it was perfectly fine. No tcase drop or anything. But my 00 with its 3 inch lift had bad vibes. So I threw a tcase drop at it and it was good to go. Your just doing to have to lift it and see how it goes. But plan on getting a sye sooner than later.
