I installed a new kit and I don't know what the problem is. I have a 90 xj and it said to cut the shift rod so one inch hands out of the t case Cover so I did. I had it in 4 wheel drive like it said to. Put it together and won't shift in to 2wd

 

you need to take it part again and reinstall

I'll pull it apart tomorrow and redo it. It just sucks to have to. A Little bummed

 

Yup I hate doing things twice also.

 

It was that shat I had to cut it a little shorter it was catching on the cover.
