Good call. I have been looking on how to do it. But i just haven't found enough info for me to do it yet.

So after i in stall it i just swap the drive shaft out with that and iam good?

Yep that's it. You may have to get some shims to set the pinion angle better after the install too..but no worries

Good news. The jy took my shaft that had vibes..the GC shaft and had another. They swapped the part for another. I went home threw in the new GC shaft and no vibes and its long enough. Very happy. Now in just have to fix my output shaft seal on the sye and I'm all done. I also need front driveshaft bolts. Not sure where to get em.

driveline shop should carry bolts you need..or you can check a home depot to see if they sell matching bolt??

congrats! driveline shop should carry bolts you need..or you can check a home depot to see if they sell matching bolt??

thats funny. right after i was done with my SYE install and reinstalling my front driveshafts front and rear, i noticed how i needed ds bolts as well, lol. i went and got some grade8 bolts at ace. but now i guess i didnt put enough scilicon on the edge of the tcase so now im leaking oil out the a$$. i now needa remove the tcase again and crack it open to redo the scilicon gasket...FML!!

Ughhh that sucks. Don't mess up your tail shaft seal when you pull it apart or you'll have another leak.

Got a part number? The dealership is $5 a bolt and you can't find the thread pitch at a hardware store.
