Default SYE

Really wanting to get rid of this T-case drop I have in my Jeep right now. I've read in the past that there is a cheap SYE kit available (hack n tap iirc?) that utilizes the stock front driveshaft? If so where can it be purchased?

I apologize in advance if this question has been answered numerous times..

Thanks. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most difficult. How hard is this install

What holds the oil in without some kind of seal on there? Cause the tail shaft cover is removed, correct?

with a SYE a new tail cone is fitted, with a hack n tap you are just shortening the output shaft so the Yoke that bets bolted to it is closer to the Tcase. a hack n tap doesnt modify the existing tcase but by shortening the output shaft

If you have the old style long tcase you need a seal. Any good hack n tap will have an option for one.
