If I was going to have a DD and commuter rig I'd go with JKS. I've installed a few kits though sometimes trimming is required to the threaded rod.
But they are beef and have grease fittings for long levity.
They even come with a really cool JKS sticker..

Couldn't agree more. But if it's strictly a toy and you have a short drive to the trails that doesn't require you to hop on the highway, I'd say go ahead and remove them. But if it's a DD, keep your front sway bar on. For safety's sake. Go ahead and remove the rear, that'd be the first thing I'd do if I were to buy a new XJ.

Have not had my front sway bar on for three years. Mostly two lane highways,55-60 mph. No problems. Jumped on the Interstate yesterday 65-70mph and the front end felt "floaty", for lack of a better word. Everything is good on my front end, think I will try a sway bar. With disconnects.

I don't want to open this argument either, especially since I have not been running either sway bar. A. I know how to drive.B my front end is set up right. C. When the 17 year old blew through the stop sign and took both lanes of the road, A and B didn't really mean much.lol

but knowing how to drive has nothing to do with it IMO. if you feel more comfortable with a sway bar, run a sway bar. plain and simple
