Default Sway bar bushings

Question:
I just got new sway bar bushings to replace the old worn ones. Can I replace/install them in the parking lot, or do I need to have it up on a lift, or jacked up? Do I disconnect my quick discos or leave them attached? Any help would be great...thanks.

As far as I know you can just pop them right in/out without jacking it up or anything.

Assuming you're talking about the "frame to sway bar bushing"...

All you have to do is remove the 4 bolts at the frame (2 on each side), drop the bar down, replace the bushings and reinstall the bolts.

It should take about 15 minutes to do this in a parking lot.

Make sure you're on flat ground so the sway bar isn't in a bind.

Get the poly urethane ones from auto zone or advanced auto they are red and grease-able only thing is measure how thick your bar is first so you get the right size they will never dry rot !

Installed NAPA Precision Engineered ones (had already bought them before suggested to go to auto zone) that are polyurethane. What a difference. Amazing. Thanks guys.
