Default 8.8 swap please help with pinion angle PICS

Ok doing an 8.8 swap in my 92 Xj with dana35.
Have a 2000 8.8 all set up and im about to burn the perches in.

I need help figuring out how many degrees to set my perches up at. im currently running a stock drive shaft and i have no vibes until over 65mph.

If i put the angle finder on my trans pan im at 0

When i put my angle finder on my u joint on t case side i have 5 degrees

On the rear pinion i have exactly 15

Can anyone tell me what i should set the perches to? I can get more detailed pics or any info you need thank you!

Can anyone tell me what my pinion angle is now? I thought i would take the driveshaft angle and subtract it from the rear pinion angle but wouldnt the driveshaft angle be Negative -10 degrees beings its facing down, and the pinion would be positive +15 degrees beings its facing up. That would come out to negative -5 degrees which matches my T case yoke measurement. Can someone please confirm thank you!

The more im looking at it, i should set my perches at 17 degrees + that way i have 2 degree difference ?????????

First off....
Get an SYE, you need it if the spec's on your jeep are correct.

Without an SYE your angles should be equal.

With an SYE you raise the pinion so it is pointing directly at the t-case output.

that will be in the future, but i have to recover from this expense first.

Now from the diagram you posted, it seems the centerline of my pinion and diff are parallel? Unless im doing the math wrong, which i probably am!

The degree measurements are correct though i went to a super flat parking lot and got the yokes straight up and down put a socket on the joint cap and my angle finder on there.

T case yoke : Negative - 5
Drive shaft : Negative -10
Pinion Yoke : Positive +15

Yes, the angles should be parallel.
