Default Sway bar bpe homeade question

Okay so i'm putting on a 3" lift for my 99 xj and i'm using a bastard pack.

I'm planning on doing the sway bar homeade bar pin eliminators. Will these make my shocks for the 3" lift be too long? I read that these Homeade bar pin eliminators add an inch to the shock travel.

They don't any travel. The simply move the mounting point about an inch closer to the axle. The extended length and compressed lengths are not affected.

I did this BPE with my 3" BDS shocks and 3.5" rusty's leafs and when im fully flexed (shackle hitting unibody) there is quite a bit left for the shock to compress. You shouldn't have to worry about the shock fully compressing on you

If you are going to use the rear sway bar mounts for BPE I would suggest getting actual ones instead. Using those sway bar mounts turns the bushing 90* and puts the bushing in bind all the time.

I am sure FrankZ has some on his site that would work much better. Although I doubt he is just going to give them to you like your freebie mounts.

What do you mean clock them, like put them in a certain location or direction? I might just weld them in! Theres really no reason not to. Can someone post a link or pics on how and where to weld them?

Not really more travel but if the upper mount is 1" lower it should allow the axle to droop 1" more

Thanks for the suggestions guys, i'm going to rotate the sway bar bpe's 90 degrees and weld them right in! Much quicker and easier than getting the old nuts out.
