Default Super Axle Piece-together

I'm looking for opinions on what I'm planning on purchasing for upgrading my axles. I have a 98 4.7 stroker with D30, C 8.25, NP-231, AW4, 4.10's, and a pending supercharger install. I'm looking for pro's and con's of each component I have listed below.

Here's what I'm looking at putting in the axles:

1. Complete Offroad Chrome-moly Axle kit with Super Joints: http://completeoffroad.com/i-6339418...ts-w24162.html

2. Detroit Electronic Locker: http://www.quadratec.com/products/16100_1012.htm

3. Detroit Locker (For C-8.25): http://www.quadratec.com/products/16100_320.htm

4. Alloy USA Dana 30 Reverse Master Install Kit: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Drivetrai...t_pn=ALY352032

5. Alloy USA C-8.25 Master Install Kit: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Drivetrai...t_pn=ALY352064

http://www.ajeepthing.com/stroker-motor.html

4.6 Low-buck Stroker, Option 1, Stroked to 4.7.

I like it.

Had it built by Titan twice. Both failed. Then I built it myself. Don't buy one from TitanEngines. Horrible quality AND service.

What are you using the jeep for? offroading? if so i would suggest that you dont waste money on the chromoly stuff. not that its not good but it will still break on you. Save some money and go to the junk yard and find either a beefier axle (front/rear end) than you dana turdy and/or do what im doing and stock up on junkyard axle and take them with you on the trails. thats my advice.

I would add a truss on the d30, the next weak point will be the ring and pinion after chromolys. It'll be a stout 30 for sure.

I think I have the Motive ring and pinion. I'm leaving the u-joints on the driveshaft stock so that they will be the weakest link in the chain.

Looks like a good start.

I have chromos and a locker in my 30 and I found out about a month ago the next week spot was the R&P. Now with the new gears installed I'm looking at ways to fight distortion of the differential. First thing I bought was a HD diff cover from ruffstuff to help stiffen the housing up... Next will be a truss.

Same thing I did, but if you get in a situation where you have to put the gears under a significant load in reverse your stock driveshaft becomes stronger than the R&P. Ask me and my old Yukons how I know

I'll have to add that to my list. Wouldn't the weakest spot in the drive train be the 'next' weak spot?
