Default sucro roof rack

Just picked one up off CL. How did you guys mount this bad boy? I'm not trying to buy the gutter mounting hardware. The guy I got it from said he just used self tapping screws into the cross bars on his jeep. Any one have any ideas or what they themselves have done? Thanks!

TLDR; How does I mount roof rack?

I'm thinking about using hose clamps through the factory rails. Although I have no idea if it will work.

go to Use It Again Sports, or some other used sporting goods place & buy some Thule or Yoshmia "ski rack" rails & feet & mount them to the gutter rails. Mount the rack on them. Those racks are rated for quite a bit of weight. I'm looking for a used roof rack & gonna buy used rails @ a play it again near me. They have tons of rails available.

Why?
I have added a third factory cross bar and they have no problem whatsoever holding my 35" spare and a hi-lift jack...

Used 4 hose clamps and some self taping screws. Seems legit.
