Struggling to find correct seal for Dana 30 one piece axle upgrade
Im really having a hard time finding the correct seal to install on the passenger side, outboard of the carrier. I've been to several forums and have tried 4 seals so far and none work. Here's what I've tried so far:
40576s(11771)OD too small
471763 OD too small
471765(11800) OD too small
710068 OD too large
Rustys makes a block off plate for the CAD and it comes with a seal. I have a block off plate made up already, so I called to try to get the part number for the seal they provide. She said the seal by itself is available for $8...with $18.50 for shipping!!!. I kindly asked her for the part number for the seal, she claims its an in house manufactured item, and that the seal doesn't have a part number, I'd have to order by year and application. So now Rustys is in the seal making business??
I've called Randys Ring and Pinion...they couldn't help...
Does anyone have any other part numbers that I could try. The Dana 30 I'm working on came out of an 86 Cherokee Chief with 4.10 factory gears (if this makes any difference)

It is, without a doubt Napa part number 11800. Napa is like the only place that carries it and it usually is special order. Autozone and Advance Auto will not have it nor be able to order it.
I went through this banging my head on shizz cause everyone gave wrong or bad advice.

That's where my trouble is...that 11800 crosses over to a National Part number 471765 which is too small. Ill give that NAPA seal a try maybe ill be surprised...not holding my breath though.
