I've been running around on the Internet since I last updated here looking at superchargers. Can anyone give me assurance that all that extra cramming won't blow my engine up? Also, where the heck do i even get a supercharger kit? I've looked online and can't find one. At least not for my 4.0. Halp

an ls swap is always an option, ls motors have just as much longevity as the 4.0 and is availible in many different displacments power. fairly easy as far as engine swap go

Where can i go to get one of those superchargers shipped to my house? Also what's the best supercharger for that much boost? Keep in mind I want the most economical choice possible.

My young friend when up the power adder in one place it ALWAYS requires more parts because the engine was not designed for it.
I learned many yrs. ago HP and speed cost money none are cheap in the long run you will pay for it. If CHEAP is of much importance stay stock.

I'm a student, I'd like to save if possible, but i definitely want to do something extra to my jeep. I don't want to stay stock. However I don't want the absolute top of the line supercharger that is going to cost much more than I'd get out if it is all. Thanks

A supercharger that will work with your engine can be acquired easily for under $100. The issue is that the tuning side of things costs around $500 to $600

you guys need to be way more descriptive with your advice. the op is on a budget and knows nothing about this subject. does anyone live close enough to lend a hand...and checkbook? that way you can do the research, buy the parts and install them. then it's a win-win.
