Default Which Sterring Box Brace?

So after checking all components (Drag link, bushings, etc.) upgrading the draglink to a V8 GC and tightening the Sterring box adjustment screw several times, the sterring on my XJ is still very loose.

I'm going do the V8 Steering Box upgrade, but need your thoughts on steering box braces. Here are my 3 choices:

1) JCR Box Spacer: http://www.jcroffroad.com/mm5/mercha...uct_Code=STSPC

2) C-Rock Complete Brace: http://www.c-rok.com/sb.html

3) Rusty's Steering Box Frame Brace: http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...egory_Code=ste

Does anyone have experience with any of these? Is it just worth going with the JCR Option and adding the additional Steering box rod brace at another time. I mean this one: http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...egory_Code=ste

Thanks in advance!

I installed the JCR box spacer and the rusty's steering box brace after i broke the old spacer while putting on a bumper. The difference in steering offroad was incredible! It stiffened the steering up nicely and gives you piece of mind that the steering box wont be falling off on the trail. You could build both of these parts if you know someone with a who works anyplace with a machine shop.

Hmm.... I totally missed that option. What did you have to remove in order to install the entire kit?

Gotcha. I plan to run 33s in the near future, so I guess i'll stick with the Durango Box. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually ordered this, but didn't realize that I still need to order the inner steering box brace as well.

I have aftermarket tow hooks with a bracket that bolts to the outer frame rail. Does anyone know if this JCR Frame Bracket will work with brackets for tow hooks?

Thanks.
