Rock Sliders - Preferred method of install???

Mine are welded on, of you have access to a welder why not do it? But if you don't bolting on still gives you plenty of excellent results

Welding would be stronger if you had a frame. Welding the sheet metal unitbody can be tricky and easily burnt through. If you bolt them use sleeves.

I also should probably have mentioned my oem rockers have been cut out also, so I suppose my situation is a little different

The added clearance is nice, and they look much better than the rusted out rockers. If you plan on using them to jack from they should be tied into the unibody.
