My bad guys. Didn't know a steering stabilizer was this worthless. Obviously it was put there for a reason. There is a purpose for it. If I'm changing all the suspension parts anyways, what's 35 bucks gonna do? A tie rod end is more than that for god sake. Well a good one.

So if I got this steering stabilizer for a jeep with 35s with dw. It wouldn't help at all? Because my dad wants one too. I'm not sure if he has one or not..

Most vehicle owners dont maintain their rigs as much as we do, or as least as much as we should. Since we are constantly beating the crap out of our rigs and always checking parts for wear and tear and need of replacement; our steering should never get so loose that we need a steering dampner to take up the slack between routine maintainence schedules. Then when one of our steering components do start showing wear, we dont have to worry about trying to work around the steering dampner and the problems it covers up. Follow?

I drove around for a good 8 months before I even realized mine was shot. I fixed all my other issues and my problems went away. Ditched the stabilizer in the trash and have gone without one since. Fix your problems and you don't need one... It's really as simple as that.

Dude.. I'm 17 I drive it to school everyday and offroad when I can (which isn't often) I don't have the money to maintain every single part. Or the time to wheel it so hard that I break everything then replace it. I have enough to fix what I can. But I'm not gonna break it then try and fix it. You follow? It's more of a DD for now. And I'd love to have it not shake every time I hit a bump. I'm working on fixing the front suspension. I was just asking a simple question.

Well. I've got a couple bad tie rod ends and in need of a new trac bar. No sway bar. So would buying a rubicon express one be okay? It's only 7 more dollars tha the one I was gonna buy. I'm trying to get the stabilizer, tie rod end, and trac bar. Then put them on and get it aligned.
A STEERING STABILIZER WILL NOT FIX YOUR DEATH WOBBLE. At least not permanently or consistently. Fix the things in red first. YOU, not any of us, have already identified these parts as parts that NEED to be replaced. Start with the tie rod ends. What is wrong with your track bar? Worn bushing? Is the frame bracket or the bolt at the axle loose?

You're not going to like this... But if it's your DD and you're only 17 and don't have the funds to do it right... Your best bet is to put it back at stock height until you have the money to get a track bar and whatever else you need to lift it right.

How high are you lifted? I didnt realize you haven't even got an adjustable track bar or at least a trackbar relocation spacer. So right now you are crab walking down the road a little sideways? This can also help induce death wobble since you are driving slightly on the edge of your front tires. It can also wear them unevenly. That really needs to be replaced before a steering dampner.

x2, how high of a lift and what all was replaced? Once you get past a few inches with stock arms your caster is really going to suffer.

Run a quad steering stabilizer setup
