New idea. 1 ton TRE's and drilling and reaming knuckles and pitman arm... Can you tell im indecisive?

Looking at the JCR kit... I could make the kit myself but i need to find a reamer. $60 my ***.

You'd want to make the passenger side knuckle double shear.

Yes.

That's the set up that's on Dad's new Jeep. It's all custom made. I like it.

It has a straight tie rod OTK with 1 ton TRE's. The drag link runs from the pitman arm to the passenger side Tie rod TRE. (It's the style tie rod end that allows the drag link to bolt to it.)

It's exactly like this but OTK.

Then it has a custom track bar with an OTA bracket. It's all custom though.

I'm starting to lean towards this. I want to run a ruffstuff cover but i think the tie rod will hit it... I might have to settle for a different cover but i dont wanna... Should tighten up my steering significantly. I will do the track bar once i get this figured out and im running it.

What diff cover will fit without having offset TRE's? It looks like pretty much every beefed up steering system will be super close to the cover.
