Default Steering??

Ok so i just put a different axle housing under slug and noticed that my steering control arms were slightly bent and the tie rods are needing replaced. So figured I had better start looking at upgrade options. Whats out there? that will upgrade my steering system but allows me to keep my stock knuckles. I have heard about the WJ arms but dont want to scour jy for used parts that may need replaced.

Its a 91 XJ with a 92 non disco housing. I have an after market track bar and just got a new steering stab. running 33s but will upgrade to 35s when i buy tires again.

If you go wj you will have to change the track bar and its mount. The bolt on one is from a zj v8 but going 35s i would look aftermarket like http://www.seriousoffroadproducts.co...-Steering-Kits http://www.jcroffroad.com/category/STR.html http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=XST or currie has a kit also.

I'm still running the ZJ setup on mine and running 33x12:50x15" and 35x12:50x15" on beadlocks on some trails no issues so far have had good luck and direct bolt-in.

How much lift do you have? An OTK setup will probably be what you want.

I have about 6.25 of lift. Correct me if I am wrong but with an OTK won't I have to change the knuckles? Or drill them?

Drill and relocate the track bar mount on the axle

I'm running the IRO over the knuckle. No need to move the track bar with the iro setup and it bolts on. So far its been a good up grade.

Is that the JKS Track bar mount? What is your track bar and frame side based off of?

Yes, it is the JKS bracket, it is also a JKS DIY track bar. With a Rubicon express frameside mount.

Nope, I did get a 1" drop pitman arm to make everything exactly parallel.
