I came across a really cool website with a bunch of different aftermarket parts for jeeps called 505 performance. First off has anyone dealt with this company and have any good or bad reviews to share with me. I am possibly looking into buying a stage 3 CAM kit for my 4.0 but wanted to know if this was a good kit and what i will benefit by installing this (HP/torque gains). If anyone has any information to offer on anything regarding installation, experience, or knowledge it would be greatly appreciated it.
Heres the link to the product I am currently looking into. http://www.shop.505performance.com/product.sc?productId=278&categoryId=26
Thanks,
CW

I've never heard of a single good review of 505 performance and their owner. Maybe its just me but i would avoid them like the plague. Look up Isky cams, Hesco, Lunati, or crane. Theirs plenty others. I'm not saying 505 doesn't have good cams but all the other work i've seen pictures of and heard of are below par. I wouldn't be surprised if the cam fails on you. (Such as their "performance" ported head) And they don't seem to be the friendliest to deal with. Here's a list of cams and their statistics.

X2 on the year of engine. And x3 on going with a different company than 505. Their cams are NOT cheap, although they are the only company offering a hydraulic roller. I'd look into a comp or an isky with a lobe sep of 114 for a street engine. The 4.0 needs help on the exhaust side so look for a dual pattern cam with a little more lift and duration on the exhaust lobes. Also keep in mind that a cam will respond well to cylinder head porting if you are going to be doing that much work.
