Default stacks? :)

Hey I'm planning on making a snorkel and I am going to use it to say the least so I'm going to raise the exhaust and a idea popped in my head since my Jeeps chopped could I run stacks through the floor of the cargo area? Any ideas or tips?

It would be wierd haha. I take it you have a gas engine though, not sure how cool 2.5" stacks would look, unless you ran </=2.5" back almost the full distance than to a 8" so it doesnt affect anything.

not to discourage you, but you're definitely going to have to address the heat and exhaust fumes issues

And to think I thought I may be the first person to put stacks on a chopped xj (well maybe 2 stacks)... most people are not dumb enough to chop there xj and almost no one sees pipes on a 18 Wheeler and thinks hmmm I am going to put those on my Cherokee...

For heat I'm not worried as long as I don't put it near somthing flammable, and for fumes it will be above the roof line I don't see why fumes would be a issue, and please feel free to discourage me I'm hard headed enough to do it anyways the worst you can do is prevent me from doing somthing I would regret later or somthing I didn't think out very well

Well its purely for function, I have made fun of gas trucks with stacks but at least I have a excuse for puting them on my jeep... and they are going to be big if I'm going to spend the money ill make sure they are the biggest ones I can afford (for the cool factor) and I'm going to run 2 stacks not 1, I may run them together up the center of the jeep not the sides, as for the chrome my xj came with every chrome option and it does not have a single part that is chrome now so it doesn't take much to figure out how I feel about chrome, but on a jeep that is all black chrome stacks may look nice, it comes down to price.. just to make myself clear I don't think chrome belongs on Jeeps in most cases

Yea i honestly think you should put a 2.5 inch stack (or stacks) on the jeep not no 8 inch...

Now put your snorkel on, Raise you exhaust through the cargo area and drive it through some deep water make sure some one takes pics! and have a blast!
