Would it be possible/safe to put two of these 3/4" spacers on top of each other? I want to raise the front end 1.5 inches. My jeep is a 94 country edition, so it already sits one inch higher then stock cheroks, so I was gonna put some 2.5" spring packs by pro comp in the rear, then just add the additional 1.5" in the front and end up at 2.5" all around.

So I guess my question is: can I stack two of those 3/4" spacers on top of each other so I have a total of 1.5" on each side in front??? Is it a good idea to stack ANY spacers??

 

Or buy 1 3/4 spacers and save a few bucks.

They sat an inch higher stock front and rear and if you're luck it's a 1/2" taller now. You can stack them but it's cheaper to get a single block and plan on lifting the front and rear the same.

 

Lol, right after I posted this question I found those 1.75" spacers from Rubicon Express. Doing the 2.5" springs in rear and that 1.75" spacer from RE in front, should both be about 2.5" with the engine weight and such on those 1.75" spacers.

 

what does engine weight have to do with spacers?

 

I worked with a guy who stacked 3 1 inch spacer in the front and had a lift block in the rear he beat on it pretty good with no problems.

 

Well, I figure if I buy polyurethane spacers, that they'll be slightly depressed or squished with all that weight on them?

 

thats rubber your thinking of poly offers NO squish. hence all the vib you get when using all poly bushings for motor, tranny, etc.

 

I keep getting mixed reviews on stacking spacers... Im getting an additional 2" spacer to stack on my previous 2" spacer to see how it goes if it doesnt work im out $20 or Ill sell them off.

 

They do after a while of abuse....that's why I'm making some cold-roll ones!

 

I hear using PVC pipe works the same I have buddies both drive dodge 2500 cummins and have used up to 5" of PVC tube for spacing, it works pretty good and their doing grudge pulls every week.

 

stacking 2" spacers for a total of 4" is kind of dumb. Thats a lot of spacer to run vs buying coils.

 

True true I dont like the idea myself jus really need to nut up n throw down some change for coils

 

Yeah, I did this a long time ago when I was a noob, ran those packs and spacers for like 4 months, ended up getting 4" from those packs (SETTLED), not 2.5, those spacers were great, cheap and gave me some lift, but I just bought some 4.5" Rubicon Express coils two months ago and realized how bad the ride was with those spacers. Just buy coils.
