Discounttiredirect.com for tires. I had 20s on my G8 and didn't spend nearly $500 a tire. More like $450 for the set plus free shipping. 20" tires are not that expensive. 19" and other odd sizes are still ridiculous.

For a "street XJ", which doesn't see any offroad use, I'd take 18" rims now (if I didn't decide to keep my 16" Moabs out of sentimental reasons) - for example I like the setup of UrbanYan who runs "18x7.5 Charger RT Rims powdercoated hammertone / 225/60/18 Contis" according to his homepage. See
