Whats everyone thinks best brand . All ready running kickers up front . Wanna put some 6 x 9s in rear hatch. Thought or even any vids ? Im running 300 watt amp.
I went with Infinity all around and a Skinny Rocksford in the back. I added a Pioneer in dash amp that runs off of the pre-outs from the head unit. I have a 1000w amp (cheap on Amazon) turned way down. I added 2 back door speakers, and made a rear hatch sub box behind the panel.
Hertz even their low line jams... I have lowline in rear sound bar and the middle grade coaxial in front doors and its pretty awesome off my kenwood deck if clarity is what your chasing
Hcx series up front dcx series in back

Blaupunkt Toronto 420 BT receiver
Polk db651 (front doors)
Polk db521 (sound bar)
Dual XPE2700 400 watt 2-channel amp(bridged -under front passenger seat)
Pioneer TS-SW841D 8" low-profile sub in custom rear cubby enclosure
Sounds awesome. Very detailed and clear, and plenty loud enough. Just bought 100 square feet of Fat Mat to use when I replace the headliner and carpet soon.
Here's a pic of the rear sub back when I had a 6.5" Kicker CompVT in it.
My Kicker CompVT rear cubby sub install. See my thread here:
I'm talking about a brand called hertz. Low line referring to their cheaper speakers... I then researched the model prefixes and added them at the bottom
Google hertz hcx and hertz dcx that will give you the specs on them... They are nice speakers but not cheap
I used 5.25" for all four. As long as it sounds half decent I am happy, would rather spend the money on stuff that makes it wheel better.
Exactly ive got two kickers in front doors plus factory tweeters in dash by your knees. Also got a sound bar out back and hatch speakers. Not looking to vibrate the guys teeth next door just grab a little deeper base clarity than my front kickers all ready have.
Can a sub just be run off RCA jack in back of radio ?
Not directly. The RCA just supplies a low-level (essentially un-amplified) signal. You must run a patch cord between that RCA and the RCA input of an external amplifier, which has its outputs wired to the sub. Or you can RCA patch directly into an amplified sub, like an amplified Bazooka tube or similar. My Dual XPE2700 fits perfectly under the front passenger seat. It's been there for three years and still going strong. And when you run it in bridged mode, it provides plenty of (reasonable) power for anything from a 6" to a 12" sub. No, you're not going to rattle the mirrors of every car in a 100 foot radius, but it will provide plenty of kick that you can hear and feel.
I know a couple people with the new Grand Cherokees that have the Premium nine-speaker sound package with the 10" sub that say my stereo system sounds better. The Polks I have paired with the Pioneer 8" sub work very well together.

So you would run rcas to amp and then from amp to 2 6x9 woofers in rear hatch?
Wonder how this would do ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Dual-ALB12-12-300W-Amplified-Car-Subwoofer-with-Enclosure-8-Gauge-Amp-Kit/351137822861?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D25879%26meid%3D324a8888b69e454aab926ddef77a573d%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D10819%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D231300484824&rt=nc
