Default spartan vs aussie

im looking for another lunchbox locker soon and have seen alot of stuff about spartan lockers lately and very little about aussie. i currently have a aussie in the back and would like the front to match. i see spartan is more expensive, yet seems to be the more popular option right now. i've never heard a bad thing about aussie but its got me wondering why someone would pay more money for a equal product?

It's the new thing on the market, therefore it will be the most popular. I would say if you like your Aussie in the back, then stick with the same up front.

Spartans come with hardened cross pins. Aussie's don't.

I run an aussie in my d30 with no problems on and off the trails. I've never seen a cross pin break in personal experience but it would be good insurance if the spartan does have a stronger one.

They are the same thing. I went with spartan and love it do far. But I'm sure the Aussie would do the same.

I went with the Spartans simply because at the time Aussie's were sold out. So far I have loved the Spartan in the D30, and I think I'm going to love it in the 8.25. If you already have an Aussie in one, then that's what i'd go back with. Well....maybe....The Spartan sticker sure does look cool.

the factory crosspin should be hardened anyway.
Its preference. I bought mine when aussie was the only game in town for the 29 spline 8.25. Never let me down. so I went for the same in the front. Both have been flawless
